We are happy that everyone enjoys the park's beautiful palm trees. Yes, sometimes they look a little rough but that is what protects them during the summer heat and sun. The sun in Texas is intense and the brown fronds protect the trunk from the rays. It is best to wait to trim until all of the new fronds have finished growing.
We understand that in the past, the trees were trimmed more than once a year however, this is not what is best for strong healthy palms. For the beauty and safety of the park, we strive to maintain our palms to their optimum health.
Please feel free to review some tips on palm maintenance here in Texas.
